ROMFORD BID CHRISTMAS 2024
Romford BID is bringing a host of experiences and entertainment to the town for all to enjoy for free across the festive season!
Look out for our giant Reindeer that will be lighting up South Street from the 7th November, offering visitors the perfect opportunity for a super seasonal selfie.
Our Reindeer installation is in addition to our Christmas tree that can be spotted outside the Golden Lion. We are also some bringing some sparkle to Romford Station by illuminating our living wall.
On Saturday 7th December and Saturday 14th December between 12-4pm, Elsa and Anna characters from Frozen will be waltzing into the town for visitors to meet and greet, plus fabulous festive stilt walkers will be adding to the shenanigans and handing out free treats.
For some additional festive entertainment on Saturday 7th December, we will be welcoming SingTok, a local performing arts group to The Mercury Mall at 12.30pm and The Brewery shopping centre at 2.00pm.
From Saturday 14th December until Christmas Eve outside Tollgate House in the Market Place, a selection of mini fair rides will be open for children, including a Helter Skelter, bumper cars and more! Fees will apply.
On selected dates throughout December, visitors to the town will also be able to enjoy our magical snow displays at various locations around the town.
We are also excited to be supporting “Carols on the Market”, a series of community choirs who will be singing contemporary and traditional carols and Christmas songs.
Performances will take place on the below dates and times in Romford Market Place, with choirs located under Romford BID Gazebos.

12.00 - 2.30pm EM Ministry Choir
3.00 - 4.00pm Contemporary Carols with Freedom Church
Sunday 22nd December
12.30 - 1.15pm Salvation Army Band and singers
1.30 - 2.15pm St Edwards Catholic Church Choir
2.30 - 3.30pm Sincerity Community Choir, KingsHeart Church
Monday 23rd December
12.00 - 1.30pm The Big Sing Choir
