My name is Tony and I've been a town ambassador for the Romford BID since October 2021. My duties include being a friendly and approachable point of information for anyone visiting Romford and to help people on their way.
I also visit local businesses on a day to day basis to see how everything is going and to check if there's anything they need.
I also report any litter, graffiti, broken street furniture or lights that aren't currently working.
I work with an absolutely fantastic team of people and I really enjoy chatting to the local businesses and visitors alike.
Romford has some excellent places of interest such as the two churches, both named Saint Edward The Confessor, The Sapphire And Ice Leisure Centre and The Brookside Theatre situated near the ring road.
Romford also has some excellent places to eat and drink such as The Blue Orchid Chinese restaurant, Ciao Bella in the town centre or The Golden Lion pub which, according to local legend was frequented by Dick Turpin.
