Romford BID, in partnership with the Romford Town Wombles is inviting volunteers to take part in a fun, feel-good community clean-up event as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean.
Come along and help tidy your town while meeting your neighbours and making a real difference!
Event Schedule
10:00am – Meet & Greet
Gather at the gazebo by St Edward’s Church entrance. Free hot drinks and biscuits will be provided!
10:30am – Clean-Up Begins
Volunteer teams will be assigned tasks, including:
- Litter picking
- Graffiti removal
- Plant pot maintenance
All equipment will be supplied, but feel free to bring your own gloves or litter pickers if you prefer.
12:30pm – Thank You!
Every volunteer will receive a voucher for a free lunch roll from one of the market traders as a token of appreciation.
Plus, don’t miss your chance to meet Madame Cholet and Tobermory from The Wombles who will be hosting meet-and-greet sessions at St Edward’s Church at intervals between 10:00am – 2:30pm.
