Romford is set to welcome some very special guests this March as Madame Cholet and Tobermory from The Wombles make a special appearance to help celebrate The Great British Spring Clean 2026.
The Wombles, the beloved eco-heroes known for their dedication to cleaning up the environment, will be joining the community at St Edward’s Church in Romford Marketplace on Saturday 14th March. Families and visitors will have the chance to meet and greet Madame Cholet and Tobermory for free at scheduled intervals between 10:00am and 2:30pm.
